From 1 July to 31 August, the Hortus is also open in the evenings on Wednesdays. Visit the gardens and glasshouses while twilight sets in, enjoy the scent of roses and join in on one of the many activities, such as yoga, meditation, music and more.

Meditation 
Experience the Hortus this summer in a unique way. Experience how nature can help you to live closer to your true nature. Get acquainted with different meditation techniques that bring more balance, grounding and joy. The meditation lessons are given by Manasvi. 
From 18.00-19.00 hrs. Registration is necessary. Please bring your own yoga mat and/or meditation cushion  

Vinyasa Flow  
(for Dutch & English speakers) 
Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic form of yoga. The asanas (postures) are practised together with breathing. During the lesson you flow from one posture to the next. There are standing, balancing and lying postures.  
18.00-19.00 hrs. Registration is necessary. Please bring your own yoga mat. 

English:
Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic form of yoga. The asanas (postures) are practiced along with the breath. You will flow from one posture to another during the class. Relax during standing, balancing and lying postures.
6:00-7:00 pm. Registration is required. Please bring your own yoga mat. 

Game night: Test your plant knowledge 
Join Thal and Nuala at the games table and play with your own company or with other visitors. Learn something about plants, outwit your fellow players but above all: have fun and enjoy the beautiful Hortus. Tonight we pay extra attention to biomimicry.
On call from 18:00 - 21:00.

Hortus Grand Café
Every Wednesday evening the Hortus Grand Café is open from 18:00 - 21:00 hrs and serves the dish of the day. To be sure of a table, reservations are recommended.

The following dishes will be served today:

  • Lamb tajine with apricots and couscous 
  • Vegan rendang with pilaf rice
