Have you lost something on or around the grounds of Leiden University? We register lost property on iLost. You can pick up your property at a reception.
How does it work?
- Is your lost item listed on iLost? Click on 'This object is mine'.
- You will be asked a number of verification questions, so we can make sure the item is returned to its rightful owner.
- You can choose to pick up the item free of charge at a reception or have it delivered to your home in return for a payment.
We do not keep lost and found items indefinitely. Objects with a maximum value of €450 and for which no one has reported back after 3 months, are destroyed or donated to charity. Objects with a higher value have a retention period of 1 year.
If you have found something on or around the grounds of the University, hand it in at a reception desk. The staff there will register it in iLost.
